Ingredients

  • Kester Wax K-70P: Naturally derived plasticizer. Increases melt point, stability, and compatibility in anhydrous systems. Improves feel without affecting structure. Creates jellies and squeezables. Usage level 0.5-20%.
  • Kester Wax K-24: Naturally derived wax ester of plant origin. Low melt point semi-solid, melts on body contact, provides cooling sensation. Adds slip, reduces greasy feel, dimethicone alternative. Usage level up to 50%.
  • White Beeswax: Natural wax produced by honeybees. Multifunctional; excels at making anhydrous formulas soft and pliable, and making emulsions glossy, thick and with excellent pickup. Structurant, plasticizer, thickener.

Procedure

  • Combine all ingredients.
  • Melt at 80-85° C and mix until uniform.
  • Continue to mix while cooling to room temperature.
  • Pump into containers.
