Ingredients

  • Kostol IBT 50: Cationic o/w emulsifier, 50% active level. Provides excellent conditioning, detangling and frizz reduction in all hair care formulations. Usage level 0.5-4%.
  • Kester Wax K-70P: Naturally derived plasticizer. Increases melt point, stability, and compatibility in anhydrous systems. Improves feel without affecting structure. Creates jellies and squeezables. Usage level 0.5-20%.

Procedure

  • Mix and melt all ingredients except fragrance with moderate mixing.
  • Once blend is completely homogeneous, cool to 85° C and add fragrance.
  • Continue to mix until room temperature.
  • Pump/Pour into containers.

Stability Information

Three months at 50° C, three months at room temperature, three freeze/thaw cycles.
