Ingredients

  • Kostol IBT: Cationic o/w emulsifier. Provides excellent conditioning, detangling and frizz reduction in all hair care formulations. Promotes a powdery after-feel in skin care. Usage level 0.5-8%.
  • Kester Wax K-24: Naturally derived wax ester of plant origin. Low melt point semi-solid, melts on body contact, provides cooling sensation. Adds slip, reduces greasy feel, dimethicone alternative. Usage level up to 50%.

Procedure

  • Heat water to 85°C.
  • Add ingredients one at a time, with high mixing, except for fragrance.
  • When batch is homogeneous.
  • Cool with medium / low mixing to 45°C or under.
  • Add fragrance.
  • Continue cooling to room temperature.

Stability Information

One month at room temperature, one month at 45°C, three freeze/thaw cycles.
